In-House Law Departments at the Leading Technology Companies, published by ALM, includes the short list of elite U.S. firms that represent the top technology companies. 2008 marks the first edition of this publication.

General Counsel at technology companies were asked to identify the firms that they consider to be the best at providing legal services to the industry, in categories such as litigation, corporate transactions, intellectual property, and labor & employment. American Lawyer Media staff added to this with research of its own, to come up with the final list of honored firms.
