Sam Adams practices in Modrall Sperling's Insurance, Employment and Educational Law Practice Group. She advises school districts regarding discipline and special education issues, and regularly provides training that addresses many of the unique issues and challenges facing educators. She is also an instructor for the Council on Education in Management, which provides core legal education and updates for Human Resources Personnel.
As a former claims representative for Farmer's Insurance, Sam also utilizes her knowledge of the insurance industry to address coverage and litigation needs of the firm's insurance clients.

Sam is on the University of New Mexico School of Law Alumni Board of Directors 2006-present; Board of Directors for Emerge New Mexico, a political leadership training program for Democratic women in New Mexico 2006-2007; Board of Directors and Pro Bono Legal Counsel for Resources, Inc., a non-profit organization that assists victims of domestic violence in the areas of advocacy, legal needs and counseling services 2003-present.
