Practice Areas
Ms. Drake is a member of Modrall Sperling's Natural Resources and Environment Department.
Ms. Drake assists clients with energy, renewable energy, utility, location approval, transmission, and interconnection matters before the New Mexico Public Regulation Commission and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Ms. Drake also assists clients on federal environmental and regulatory permitting matters before federal land and resource management agenices, including Department of Interior, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Environmental Protection Agency.
Prior Experience
Prior to her legal career, Ms. Drake was an environmental regulatory specialist with the Army Corps of Engineers in Los Angeles and New England, and as a result has many years of experience implementing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, the National Historic Preservation Act, and other federal environmental laws.
