Practice:
Jennifer Evans is a member of the Natural Resources Department and Water Law Group. Her primary interests are water rights, water quality and mining law. Ms. Evans has a wide variety of experience with water rights and water quality related matters. She assists clients with water rights applications, declarations, or other water rights needs, represents applicants and protestants in State Engineer hearings and helps clients analyze and understand their current or prospective water rights. Ms. Evans also has experience with water rights disputes in state court.
Ms. Evans' water quality experience includes participation in the Triennial Review of surface water quality standards. Her experience includes administrative appeals of water quality issues, including both litigation at the administrative level and appeals in state court. Ms. Evans also has experience with permitting and rule-making proceedings before the Mining Commission and the Water Quality Control Commission.
