Mr. Winder concentrates his practice in the area of Indian Law. His most recent experience includes advising the United States Attorney and the United States Department of Interior, Division of Indian Affairs on a variety of legal issues affecting Indian tribes. Throughout his career, Mr. Winder has been involved in the representation of several Indian tribes throughout the country, including serving as General Counsel/Senior Tribal Attorney to the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, of which he is a member. Prior to joining Modrall, Sperling, Roehl, Harris & Sisk, P.A., Mr. Winder was Assistant United States Attorney/Tribal Liaison for the United States Attorney’s Office, District of New Mexico.
