Public Finance
Mr. Muirhead joined Modrall Sperling in 1995 and concentrates his practice in the area of public finance. His experience includes service as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriter's counsel on numerous transactions for municipalities, counties, and school districts throughout New Mexico. Mr. Muirhead has been extensively involved in the New Mexico Finance Authority's direct loan program providing bond counsel services on loan transactions with a variety of governmental entities including water associations, solid waste authorities, as well as municipalities and counties.
Prior to joining Modrall, Sperling, Roehl, Harris & Sisk, P.A., Mr. Muirhead served as a law clerk to The Honorable James A. Parker, United States District Judge for the District of New Mexico.
Mr. Muirhead is an active member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
