Practice

Alex Walker is a member of Modrall's Litigation Department, where he practices in the areas of labor/employment, commercial litigation, products liability, healthcare, railroad, and torts/personal injury.  He routinely appears in both state and federal courts, and also participates in administrative proceedings, mediations, and other settlement facilitations.

A substantial portion of Mr. Walker's practice is the representation of private companies facing employment law issues, including the defense wrongful discharge actions, claims of sexual harassment, employment discrimination matters (race, sex, age, disability, etc.), as well as employee handbook and other implied contract claims.  The remainder of Mr. Walker's practice involves handling product liability and general tort claims for pharmaceutical manufacturers, pharmacies, home health agencies, and medical supply companies, as well as commercial litigation and personal injury claims on behalf of corporations, rail carriers, school districts, universities, and municipalities.
