Modrall Sperling's recruiting and summer associate programs play a pivotal role in ensuring the long-standing success and continuing vitality of our firm.
Although we recognize that recruiting is a year-round process, in recent years we have participated in on-campus interviewing at UCLA, USC, Stanford, UC-Berkeley, Hastings, Arizona State, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, University of Chicago, University of Denver, Michigan, Virginia, Maryland, Boston College, William & Mary, Georgetown, New York University, Notre Dame, Northwestern and Harvard, to name a few. In conjunction with our interviews of students from these fine schools, we frequently arrange interviews with other quality applicants from law schools that we are unable to visit during on-campus recruiting. We also interview a more limited number of first year law students between December and February.
The heart of our recruiting program is our summer program for second year and first year law students, and sometimes for recent law school graduates with an available summer prior to starting a judicial clerkship. We believe our overall recruiting process and summer program have contributed significantly to our firm's culture and collegiality, and aid in our efforts to provide high-quality service to our varied clientele.
