Marte D. Lightstone recently joined Modrall Sperling Law Firm in the firm's Natural Resources practice group. Ms. Lightstone has over 22 years experience practicing law, primarily in the natural resources area. Prior to joining Modrall, Sperling, Roehl, Harris & Sisk, P.A., Ms. Lightstone practiced law at Miller Stratvert P.A., in Albuquerque.
Ms. Lightstone advises clients on all aspects of environmental law, oil and gas law, and tribal resource and jurisdictional issues. She also represents clients in all phases of complex commercial and environmental litigation, including the negotiation of complex settlements.
Ms. Lightstone, an active cyclist, has also been providing legal assistance in the development of the Johan Bruyneel Cycling Academy in Albuquerque and the development of a pro-level continental U.S. team registered and headquartered in Albuquerque. She also serves on the non-profit board of The Access Fund, the national advocacy organization for climbing in the United States.
Ms. Lightstone received her Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law.
