Integrated Resource Plans In The Works
New Mexico’s electric utilities must file Integrated Resource Plans (“IRPs”) every three years to identify the most cost effective resource portfolio to supply energy needs of their customers over a twenty-year period, taking into account numerous factors and public input.
- PNM’s IRP and other informational materials.
- Southwestern Public Service will file its IRP by July 16, 2012, and its public advisory process is ongoing. Information and materials are available.
- El Paso Electric will file its IRP by July 2012, and its public advisory process is also ongoing. Information and materials are available.
