Modrall Sperling Partners with Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce in Support of Education

Modrall Sperling is a proud sponsor of the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce Education Excellence Scholarships. At a breakfast reception and awards ceremony held on June 10, 2021 scholarships were presented to more than 70 New Mexico students from diverse backgrounds. Awards were also presented to three leading New Mexico educators.
Michelle Hernandez, AHCC Board Member and chair of Modrall Sperling’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee presented the Max Madrid Memorial Scholarship to Shawn Ren, a student at Emory Law School. Shawn is a first generation Chinese-American and has helped to develop Emory Law’s Diversity and Inclusion Program and spends time working and volunteering with various indigent and minority groups. He also currently serves as the Executive Articles Editor of the Emory Law Journal and is working for Justice Nels S.D. Peterson on the Georgia Supreme Court.
