Haley Adams’ practice is focused on energy, water, environmental and natural resources law. Prior to joining Modrall Sperling, Haley practiced with the New Mexico State Land Office for two years, where she assisted in long-term commercial lease drafting and negotiation, litigated contract and water law issues and managed the agency’s compliance with the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act.
Haley completed her undergraduate studies at Florida International University and attended Lewis and Clark Law School, where she received a certificate in Environmental, Natural Resources and Energy Law, served on the Board of the Environmental Law Journal, was a student staff member of the Earthrise Law Clinic and participated in Environmental Moot Court. During law school, she interned with the Bonneville Power Administration, where she worked on issues relating to cultural properties, listed species and contaminated sites. Haley also gained experience with air quality, renewable energy and environmental litigation while interning with the Natural Resources Defense Council.
When she is not practicing law, Haley enjoys spending time with her chickens, reading and cooking.
