Doug Schneebeck completes El Tour de Tucson

Doug Schneebeck, a shareholder at Modrall Sperling, recently rode and completed El Tour de Tucson — where, along with his wife Jean, he rode 111.5 miles on a tandum bike as part of one of the country’s biggest cycling events. Participating in this challenging bike race is daunting enough for people in optimal health — and for Doug, who is battling ALS, the race was even more of an accomplishment. Having lost most of his upper body strength and manual dexterity due to ALS, Doug is almost totally reliant on his knees to control his bike. However, Doug overcame this challenge as he does every other challenge thrown his way due to his disease — and we are humbled by, as well as extremely proud of, this man we call “friend.”
