Tomas Garcia Elected to State Bar of New Mexico Board of Bar Commission
Tomas Garcia was recently elected to a position on the State Bar of New Mexico Board of Bar Commissioners. Tomas will serve a two-year term as a Commissioner for the 2nd Judicial District (Bernalillo County). He also served on the Board of Bar Commissioners in 2020.
Tomas is a shareholder in Modrall Sperling’s Litigation group, and serves on the Executive Committee. His practice includes a variety of commercial, healthcare, torts/personal injury, and transportation litigation, as well as lobbying. As a litigator, he has experience representing business professionals in corporate disputes, health care facilities and medical professionals in negligence and regulatory matters, manufacturers and distributors in product defect cases, and commercial transportation companies in actions in state and federal court. As a lobbyist, Tomas represents businesses and nonprofit organizations with public policy issues before the New Mexico Legislature.
