Tomas Garcia selected to National Conference of Bar Presidents’ Diversity Scholars Program
Modrall Sperling shareholder Tomas Garcia has been selected to participate in the National Conference of Bar Presidents’ Diversity Scholars Program. Tomas currently serves on the State Bar of New Mexico Board of Bar Commissioners, and has been elected to be Secretary/Treasurer for the State Bar for the 2026 bar year. He is one of ten attorneys from bars around the country to be named to the NCBP’s 2025-26 Diversity Scholar Class.
NCBP’s Diversity Scholars Program was established with the goal of strengthening the alliance between associations of all kinds to the benefit of the organized bar, the profession, and society as a whole. Through the program, Diversity Scholars develop their own leadership style and learn how to put that style into action, as well as create national networking connections with other bar leaders.
