Overview
Damon Nieto practices in the Litigation Department at Modrall Sperling. His focus is predominantly on personal injury claims, product liability cases, employment matters, and commercial disputes.
Born and raised in New Mexico, Damon earned his undergraduate degree in criminology and his master’s degree in public administration from the University of New Mexico.
Damon earned his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school, Damon worked as a teaching assistant, served on the New Mexico Law Review, and he was a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court team. Damon was also the recipient of the Justice Pamela B. Minzner Award for Professionalism and Ethics and the Modrall Sperling Max J. Madrid Law Diversity Scholarship.
When Damon is not practicing law, he enjoys playing golf, camping, playing music, or spending time with his family, friends, and dog.
