Five associate attorneys join Modrall Sperling

Modrall Sperling welcomes Jack Cahill, Jeff Goodwin, Damon Nieto, Emma Palmer and Emily Windsor to the firm as associate attorneys.

Cahill Jack Square

Jack Cahill practices in the Litigation Department, where he assists with matters involving personal injury claims, commercial disputes, and real estate. After working briefly in secondary education, Jack attended Arizona State University, where he received his J.D. magna cum laude. While in law school, Jack served as the Managing Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal and gained experience as an intern for the Arizona Attorney General Office’s Consumer Protection Division.

Goodwin Jeff Square

Jeff Goodwin splits his time between the Litigation and Natural Resources Departments at Modrall Sperling. Jeff earned his J.D. from Tulane Law School in New Orleans, where he served as an Articles Editor on Tulane Law Review and earned a certificate in Civil Law. During law school, Jeff completed a judicial externship with Judge Jane Triche Milazzo of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. He also earned a master’s degree in Media and Public Engagement from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Nieto Damon Square1

Damon Nieto practices in Modrall Sperling’s Litigation Department, focusing predominantly on personal injury claims, product liability cases, employment matters and commercial disputes. Damon earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of New Mexico and graduated magna cum laude from UNM School of Law. While in law school, Damon worked as a teaching assistant, served on the New Mexico Law Review, and he was a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court team.

Palmer Emma Square

Emma Palmer practices in the Litigation Department, where she focuses primarily on insurance disputes, personal injury, and employment benefits. While in law school at UNM, Emma was a teaching assistant for various Constitutional law courses while being a research assistant for a professor. Emma received the CALI awards in the Employment Benefits and Estate and Retirement Drafting courses. She was also the recipient of the National Association of Women Lawyers’ Award.

Windsor Emily Square

Emily Windsor focuses her practice on labor and employment law, education law, personal injury, and commercial disputes. Emily received her undergraduate degree from NYU and a master’s degree in Gender Studies from University College London. She earned her J.D. from University of Oregon School of Law, where she served as an Articles Editor on the Oregon Law Review. During law school, Emily completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Christopher L. Garrett of the Oregon Supreme Court.
