Overview
Marrisa Casados practices in the Litigation Department at Modrall Sperling, predominantly focusing on commercial disputes, product liability cases, and personal injury claims.
Born and raised in northern New Mexico, Marrisa obtained her Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico. While in college, she assisted local lobbyists advocating on policy matters from advanced energy initiatives to criminal legal reform at the New Mexico Legislature.
While in law school at the University of New Mexico, Marrisa competed for two years on the school’s National Trial Competition mock trial team, serving as team captain for both years. Marrisa was the recipient of the A.H. McLeod Prize, which is presented to an individual demonstrating interest and excellence in advocacy.
When Marrisa is not practicing law, she enjoys live music, films, and spending time with her friends and family.
