Overview
Emmalee Johnston practices in the litigation group at Modrall Sperling. Her focus is predominantly on medical malpractice, torts/personal injury, and appeals.
Emmalee is a two-time Lobo. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Languages from the University of New Mexico, graduating summa cum laude. Thereafter, she earned her Juris Doctor at the UNM School of Law where she graduated cum laude. While in law school, Emmalee served as the Natural Resources Journal Lead Citation Editor, the Women’s Law Caucus President, and the Marshall Brennan Program Research Assistant.
Prior to joining Modrall Sperling, Emmalee served a two-year term as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Gerald E. Baca at the New Mexico Court of Appeals.
When she is not practicing law, Emmalee enjoys trying new restaurants, reading, and spending time with her family.
