Modrall Sperling Announces New Shareholders

Modrall Sperling is pleased to have two attorneys join the rank of Shareholder in 2021:

Chris Killion’s practice focuses on oil, gas and mineral development, including issuing drilling, division order and acquisition title opinions for oil and gas companies for properties in New Mexico and Texas, as well as representing those companies before regulatory bodies. Chris helps clients comply with state and federal regulations related to mineral development and represents clients in transactions involving purchase and sale of mineral rights. An Alabama native, Chris is a magna cum laude graduate of Cumberland Law School and served as a Law Clerk to U.S. District Judge J. Foy Guin of the Northern District of Alabama. Chris is licensed in New Mexico, Texas and Alabama.

Mia Lardy practices primarily in employment, education, and insurance litigation at both the trial and appellate level. She has lead attorney experience in administrative due process hearings as well as in a jury trial. Mia received her law degree cum laude with a certificate in child law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2010. While at Loyola, Mia was a Child Law Fellow and the Editor-in-Chief of the Children’s Legal Rights Journal. She was awarded the President’s Medallion in 2009. Prior to joining Modrall Sperling, Mia clerked for the Honorable Petra Jimenez Maes of the New Mexico Supreme Court.
