Real Estate Paralegal
Modrall Sperling has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting attorneys in all aspects of real estate transactions and related matters. This candidate should feel comfortable reviewing title documents, preparing closing materials, coordinating with clients and outside parties, managing transaction timelines, and completing other requests as needed.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, and other real property documents
- Draft real estate documents including deeds, easements, affidavits, and closing documents
- Coordinate with title companies, lenders, clients, and opposing counsel
- Assist with due diligence collection and review
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical transaction files
- Prepare closing binders and manage post-closing follow up
- Conduct real estate related research as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- At least 2 years as a Real Estate Paralegal or legal assistant is required
- Strong computer skills including experience with Word, PDFs, Outlook, Excel, and calendaring applications
- Experience with title and escrow processes is preferred
- Strong organizational and transaction management skills
