Modrall Sperling Employment Newsletter

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) is requiring employers to post a notice of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). The FFCRA becomes effective on April 1, 2020.
The current poster applicable to non-federal employees (as of March 26, 2020) can be found here. Additionally, the DOL has provided additional information regarding the FFCRA and related posters on the DOL website here. Employers are required to inform employees of the rights afforded by the FFCRA. The DOL counsels that an employer may satisfy this requirement by emailing or direct mailing this notice to employees, or posting this notice on an employee information internal or external website.
